Richard - General & Specialist NDIS Support Coordinator

I have been living in Wagga for over 3 years since moving from Wollongong where I spent 6.5 years working for Youth off the Streets in a high risk, high needs residential care program and South Coast Private mental health facility.

Since being in Wagga I have worked for the NDIS leaving the agency in Jan 2019 to work with Riverina Family Services in a support coordination and business admin capacity. I enjoy assisting participants and their families understand and utilize the opportunities and freedom presented by the NDIS. I look forward to collaborating with service providers and practitioners so participants lives can flourish in a way that has been unavailable to them prior to the existence of the NDIS.

Carla - Behaviour Support Practitioner

I grew up in Wagga and currently live here with my young daughter. I enjoy exploring our beautiful land, and my daughter and I share a sense of adventure.

I have been a qualified social worker since 2007. During my social work career, I have spent significant time employed in a Federal Government agency, with six of those years being in a senior social work position. I have also worked with NGOs, academia and state government. My experience has been in supporting people across the lifespan with complex issues such as significant mental health needs, domestic violence and serious family breakdown. I work from a strengths-based perspective and employ relevant, contemporary models of therapy to support people to make the changes they wish to make.

In early 2019 I made the decision to step away from the corporate world, and practice social work in a way that is consistent with my values. I am excited to be a part of the Riverina Family Services team, as we all share similar values about supporting individuals and families through building respectful relationships

Hi, my name is Kelli and I live in Wagga with my hubbie and 4 beautiful children.  I made a career change decision in 2013 and began study to move into the community services sector, following my passion for ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to live the life they deserve and follow their dreams. Since starting this journey I have completed a Diploma in Community Services Work and a Professional Diploma in Therapeutic Life Story Work, and have spent the last 3 years working with children and young people in the out of home care system. This included roles in Youth Work, Case Management and Coordination.

Amanda-Lee - General & Specialist NDIS Support Coordinator

Hi my name is Amanda-Lee and I grew up in Wagga before moving away for 10 years to complete tertiary studies and travel. I returned to Wagga in 2009 after being involved in The Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development volunteer program in the Pacific.

I’m excited to have returned to my hometown where I now live with my husband and two children. In 2015 I changed careers and started working in the disability sector.  I feel privileged to be able to support and help  individuals navigate there way through the NDIS. I have experienced personally what impact the NDIS can have on a person’s life. I have a younger sister who has MS and the supports that she has been able to access thanks to the NDIS has changed her life.

I have been a Support Coordinator in both large and small NDIS registered providers. As all NDIS plans are unique I’m dedicated to building a relationship with each participant, identifying their individual needs and ensuring that each participant is empowered to use their plan effectively.

I’m proud to be part of the RFS team and look forward to continuing to support participants, families and carers through their NDIS journey.
