Referrals are now open for Therapeutic Life Story Work at Riverina Family Services. Our trained facilitators support children, young people, and adults to explore their stories, make sense of past experiences, and build a stronger foundation for the future.
Our Therapeutic Life Story Work program is also adapted for people with disability, using personalised and accessible approaches that support meaningful participation, understanding, and engagement throughout the process..

Therapeutic Life Story Work is a structured, evidence-informed approach that helps children, young people, and adults understand their life experiences in a safe, supportive, and meaningful way.
Through guided exploration of personal history, relationships, significant events, memories, and emotions, individuals are supported to make sense of their experiences, develop a stronger sense of identity, and build resilience for the future.
The process may include conversations, photographs, timelines, creative activities, and the development of a personalised life story book.
Children, young people, and adults who have experienced trauma, loss, family separation, placement changes, or other significant life events.
Our facilitators, Stacey and Jayde, are trained Therapeutic Life Story Work practitioners.
